On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce 5th India Land and Development Conference (ILDC). The 4th ILDC organized last year, had more than 350 participants and more than 35 partners joining from India and abroad over 5 days of deliberation including pre and post-conference events. ILDC 2020 witnessed interdisciplinary and intersectoral conversations over 34 thematic sessions, 5 master classes, 2 plenary sessions and an academic alliance. As the world is dealing with a pandemic, its repercussions are being reflected in India as well, along with an economic crisis and mass reverse migration which has significantly impacted the lives and livelihoods of people, ILDC2021 invites attention to the relevance of land security, in inclusive and sustainable development with inbuilt resilience to future shocks. Relevant, thought-provoking and disruptive enquiries, ideas, experiences and analysis are invited from individuals, institutions and partnerships. Like the previous years, ILDC2021 will provide platforms for enriching and interdisciplinary conversations in form of sessions for presentations, panel discussions, round tables as well as avenues like master classes, lightning talks and focussed conclaves. Along with intellectual deliberations and engagement, ILDC2021, will also host pre and post-conference events with ample scope to connect and network with inter-sectoral land actors participating from India and abroad. ILDC has been the biggest land convergence platform in India for land professionals and actors from Government, CSO, Academia, private sectors, entrepreneurs, media, and international institutions. Proposal for papers, posters, displays and sessions are invited along with enquiries on partnerships and sponsorships.
