BRAC, the largest non-governmental organisation in the world and global leader in developing cost-effective, evidence-based programmes in conflict-prone and post-disaster settings. BRAC works with people living in situations of inequality and disadvantaged communities around the world. BRAC develops proven approaches to address poverty and empower vulnerable people at scale, and bring programmes to where they are most needed.

Since its founding, Landesa has partnered with governments, communities and other stakeholders in more than 50 countries to advance pro-poor, gender-sensitive land rights reforms using law and policy tools. These reforms have helped alleviate poverty, reduce hunger and ease conflict over land for more than 120 million women and men.

The Rural Aid Service (RAS) is a non-profit, non-political, secular organization registered in Manipur Societies Registration Act. The Rural Aid Service was incepted since 1995 in view of bringing peace and development with the sole spirit of “Empowerment through Social Action”. The organization strive to make a humble contribution to economically vulnerable groups of people, committing ourselves as an agent of solving problems also facilitating them in sensitizing their issues through social action with a limited capacity in partnership with others in building a better society, base on justice and peace.

Rongmei Baptist Association (RBA) is a church-based organisation and is the apex administrative body for the Rongmei churches in Nagaland. In 1992, when the RBA stepped beyond religious activities, the broad objective was to empower rural people and reduce the rate of poverty in the region. 

Utthan is a registered non-profit organization, has been working in four water stressed and resource poor districts in Gujarat for the past twenty years. Founded in 1981 by four professional women inspired by Professor Ravi Mathai. Utthan brings together a group of professional development workers, committed to working with communities towards an India free of inequalities and discrimination with equal opportunities, security and freedom for all.

The Working Group for women and land ownership (WGWLO), is a network of 41 NGOs, CBOs and individuals in Gujarat, working on the issue of agriculture land ownership from livelihood, security, rights and empowerment angle for women. These are CBOs and NGOs spread in more than 15 districts of Gujarat, working at the rural grass roots level since 2003.

Tata Trusts are amongst India's oldest, non-sectarian philanthropic organisations. Since its inception, Tata Trusts have played a pioneering role in transforming traditional ideas of charity and introducing the concept of philanthropy to make a real difference to communities.Through grant-making, direct implementation and co-partnership strategies, the Trusts support and drive innovation in the areas of healthcare and nutrition; water and sanitation; energy; education; rural livelihoods; natural resource management; urban poverty alleviation;  enhancing civil society and governance; media, arts, crafts and culture; and diversified employment. The Trusts engage with competent individuals and government bodies, international agencies and like-minded private sector organisations to nurture a self-sustaining eco-system that collectively works across all these areas. 

Rongmei Naga Baptist Association (RNBA) is a church based organization. Development & Relief Department is the social wing of Rongmei Naga Baptist Association (RNBA) working with partners NGOs in capacity building, fund raising and mainstreaming development in North Eastern states of India.

COHESION Foundation Trust was set up in 1996 by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The team equipped with the experience of different facets of development, started as a support body, providing professional services to other organizations. The support included services like community organization; project finance & management services including planning, monitoring & evaluation; designing & maintenance of Impact assessment and Management Information Systems; research, capacity building, democratization of development process & empowerment; advocacy works etc. As a strategic move in the year 2000-01, Cohesion initiated its implementation units, with a view to enrich the exchange of learning through support activities. The organization got formally registered in 2001 under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.

Society for Women's Action and Training Initiative-SWATI’s work is focused on all forms of violence against women and enabling women to attain their rights and entitlements. SWATI began its journey in 1994 from Surendranagar district of Gujarat, India as a community based organization committed to the socio-economic empowerment of women. Very early in the journey, SWATI envisioned the direction of growth for grassroots women’s collectives and the changing role of SWATI. We envisioned the collectives to be the community- based organizations led by women drawn from the sangha membership and working for the development of the area and the community. The Mahila Vikas Sangathan ( women’s development Union) - a collective of over 3500 women, has an independent identity beyond SWATI and marks a stage in the fulfillment of the vision of SWATI.

Habitat for Humanity International   is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. It's ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety.
